Product Description
All motherboards listed here are compatible with all Ryzen 7000-series processors. Most B650 boards should be fine for gaming and personal use. For overclockers and those looking to push their hardware to its absolute limits, the X670 motherboards may be of more interest. The biggest two considerations other than those are size and whether you plan to use wifi or ethernet for your online connection. Some motherboards have wifi built in (assume they do unless we say otherwise) while others do not. If your board doesn't have built-in wifi, we can add it in using wifi cards in the extras page.
Any boards that say "B650" or "X670" are ATX sized. Any boards that say "B650M" or "X670M" are mATX sized. Any boards that say "B650I" or "X670I" are ITX sized. Pretty much any motherboard over $500 is likely EATX sized, so you are going to want a Full ATX case for those. Assume all boards have a USB Type-C header unless otherwise specified.
ASUS Prime boards: Only the -AX models and the X670E-Pro have wifi.
ASUS ProArt X670E/B650-Creator: Has wifi. The B650 variant of the ProArt does not.
Gigabyte: Only the B650M K and the B650M DS3H do not have bulit-in wifi.
MSI: All motherboards shown have wifi built in, except the A620M-E.
MSI A620M-E Pro Series: The most budget-friendly motherboard we offer, this is suitable for non-gamers who don't need a lot of extra "bling" inside their system. We recommend picking another option if you plan to consistently game, use a Ryzen 7 CPU or better, or if you want to install a lot of memory (RAM) into your computer. This board also does not have wifi. This is also the only board without a USB Type-C header.
ASRock: All boards listed have wifi except the B650 Lightning.
