Nvidia GPUs are known to be some of the best for gaming. With most RTX 4000 cards using the 12VHPWR connector (with the exception of the RTX 4060 Ti), you may want to pick up an ATX 3.0 compatible power supply if you're getting almost any RTX 4000 card on this list. Confusingly, the RTX 4070 cards (with a few exceptions outlined below) use the ATX 2.0 power standard with the RTX 4070 Ti cards and up all using the ATX 3.0 standard, so keep that in mind if you're looking for a 4070. Due to the prices of graphics cards, we've included the previous generation's RTX 3060 for budget gamers and the GT1030 for those who picked an Intel processor that does not have onboard graphics (e.g. an -F series CPU). The GT1030 isn't really powerful enough to run anything past The Elder Scrolls 4 on high settings, but it does include a DisplayPort and HDMI-out port, so you shouldn't have any issues connecting modern displays to it. We've included the VRAM (video memory) next to each product name, but that shouldn't be an indicator of the card's performance. This list goes from the most budget option to the highest performing option.Cards with 1-2 fans are small enough to fit in most cases, with 3-fan cards being too large for some builds. If your case supports EATX motherboards, it'll most likely support the size of a 3-fan card. If not, going with a 2-fan card is a safe choice. We're only listing unusual cards below that deviate from the "3 DisplayPort, 1 HDMI" standard, or any that might be confusing due to similarities with other cards. If your card isn't described, it's not unusual in any way.
All RTX cards include Nvidia's NVENC encoder for streamers, RT cores, and display connectors for all your modern monitors. Mostly every RTX card has one HDMI port and three DisplayPort ports. With DisplayPort being the newest and best connector type (aside from USB Type-C), you'll want to check your monitors and prepare adapters if you need more than one HDMI cable ran to your PC. Tip: Don't use display splitters to run more than 4 monitors off one graphics card, otherwise you may experience a lower resolution or refresh rate than usual. If you need to run more monitors than the graphics cards support, contact us to discuss other GPU options.
ASUS TUF RTX 3060 V2 OC: Has 3 DisplayPort connectors as well as 2 HDMI cables for a total of 5.
Gigabyte RTX 3060 cards: Has 2 DisplayPort connectors with 2 HDMI cables.
PNY RTX 3060 cards: There are three variants here, so to clear them up, one has 8GB of VRAM, one has 12GB of VRAM, and the XLR8 has 12GB of VRAM with RGB lights.
MSI RTX 3060 Ventus: There are two very similar cards here, the 2X has two fans and the 3X has three fans.
All RTX 4060 Ti cards: Use the older standard and not the new 12VHPWR connector.
ASUS Dual RTX 4070 cards: The OC edition is a little pricier because the OC cards are designed to be slightly faster. The TUF also has three fans. Unlike the 3060 TUF card, the 4070 TUF follows the 3 DisplayPort and 1 HDMI port standard.

ASUS TUF/ROG Strix 4070Ti: Like their 3060 counterpart, these have 3 DP (DisplayPort) and 2 HDMI connectors.
Maxsun 4070 Ti: Yes, that is actually how the card looks.
ASUS TUF/ROG Strix 4080: Like the 4070Ti and 3060 cards, these have an extra HDMI connector.
ASUS TUF/ROG Strix 4090: Like the other TUF and ROG Strix variants, these have one extra HDMI connector.
Please note that the MSI Suprim Liquid X 4090 and the Gigabyte Aorus Waterforce 4090 cards are both liquid cooled (MSI uses a 240mm radiator and Gigabyte uses a 360mm radiator). Be certain that there is a radiator space in the chassis and pick an air cooler or 120mm AIO for your CPU if you are picking these cards.
